Barnegat Historical Society To Host Annual Flea Market This Weekend - Summer - Barnegat-Manahawkin, NJ Patch:

Members of the Barnegat Historical Society are still looking for vendors for the group's annual flea market to be held at the Barnegat Municipal Dock on Saturday.

"The money raised through the flea market will help offset the costs of maintaining our Heritage Village on East Bay Avenue," society member Cindy Janowiak said.

The Heritage Village is open every Saturday from Memorial Day through Labor Day from 1 to 4 p.m.  Private group tours can be arranged upon request.
Vendor space is available on a first come, first served basis – there is no pre-registration or application.  Society members will be on the dock at 5 a.m. Saturday to assign vendors to spaces.

Shoppers usually begin arrived at 8 a.m., Janowiak said.

Members of our society will be at the dock at 5 a.m. to assign vendors to spaces.  Spaces (no tables provided) are $20 each and are 19-by-20 feet.  The spaces can accommodate a regular-size van and 10-foot by 10-foot canopy. No  electricity is available, she said.

Shoppers usually arrive around 8 a.m. The rain date is Aug. 31.  For information call 609-698-3788 or e-mailwww.barnegat.historical@gmail.com.

The Heritage Village is situated on East Bay Avenue and consists of four major buildings and three smaller structures – the Lippincott-Faulkenburg House, the Barber Shop, the Edwards House, the Butcher Shop, a corn crib, a motel cabin and a three-hole necessary.
